The Lehigh Valley Sickle Cell Support Group hopes that you enjoyed the delicious soul food and afternoon of jazz event held on Saturday, September 29th in celebration of September as National Sickle Cell Awareness Month. Who We Are:

The Lehigh Valley Sickle Cell Support Group, Inc. formed in 1995 when a small group of concerned parents of children with the disease, discovered there was a need for education about the sickle cell condition in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas.

Our Purpose/Mission Statement:

The Lehigh Valley Sickle Cell Support Group, Inc., is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering the sickle cell patient and his/her family, through education, love and respect, and encourage community involvement in the proper care of those affected and /or effected by this debilitating condition.
